Compensation: $30–$40/hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–3:00 PM (41 hours/week guaranteed)

Proactive Nanny/Housekeeper Needed on the Upper East Side

A family on the Upper East Side is seeking a reliable, proactive nanny/housekeeper to join their household. Most of the day will be focused on caring for their 2-year-old, while the older two children are in school until the afternoon and have extracurricular activities. Dad works full-time outside the home, while mom is home full-time, so the ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who works well alongside a parent. The family values flexibility, initiative, and strong work ethic. Occasional travel to their second home in the Hamptons would be appreciated but is not required.

Responsibilities include:

• Engaging, attentive care for the 2-year-old during the day

• School-day support for the older children as needed

• Meal prep for the children and family, with attention to ingredients and label reading

• Household upkeep: dishes, tidying, laundry, vacuuming, mopping, changing bed linens, organizing, and whole house cleaning

Qualifications:

• Experience caring for children, including toddlers

• Hardworking, proactive, and flexible personality

• Comfortable balancing childcare and housekeeping

• 3+ years of professional nanny experience 

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
