A thoughtful, family-oriented household in Leesburg, Virginia is seeking a warm, engaging, and detail-oriented full-time nanny to care for their two children, ages 3 years and 3 months. The 3-year-old is happy, advanced in language development, and full of curiosity. They love music class, gym class, and visiting the library. Beginning in late August, the 3-year-old will attend school three days per week from 8:30am–12:30pm. The family is looking for a nanny who can foster continued growth, encourage self-sufficiency and life skills, and thoughtfully support developmental milestones.
The 3-month-old is in an important stage of early infancy. The family is seeking a nanny who is knowledgeable about infant development, attentive to feeding and nap routines, and confident in supporting milestones with patience and calm attentiveness.
Mom is a stay-at-home parent who is actively involved in the children’s lives, and Dad works from a separate office space within the home. The family is seeking a nanny who is comfortable with this dynamic, works collaboratively, and maintains professionalism and clear boundaries within a shared caregiving environment.
The family has one small, hypoallergenic, low-maintenance dog. Pet care is minimal, but comfort around dogs is important.
There are no dietary restrictions or food allergies in the home. Mom and Dad prioritize a nontoxic, nutritious lifestyle and value wholesome, thoughtful food choices for their children.

Responsibilities:
Childcare & Family Support:
Provide attentive, nurturing care for both children
Support feeding routines (including bottles), naps, and developmental milestones for the infant
Engage the 3-year-old in age-appropriate activities, including music, reading, outdoor play, and enrichment outings
Assist with school drop-off and pick-up beginning in late August
Foster a structured, loving, and screen-free environment
Prepare healthy, nutritious meals and snacks for the children
Provide occasional weekend coverage and date nights (with advance notice)
Travel domestically and internationally with the family 1–2 times per year
Household Support (Child-Focused Priority):
Bottle cleaning and sanitation
Children’s laundry
Light home tidying and organization
Meal prep for the children
Kitchen tidying
Minimal pet care
Light meal prep for the whole family
Childcare is always the primary focus, with household tasks completed as time allows.
Additional Needs:
Nanny should have a reliable personal vehicle and use their own car on the job (parking available)

Compensation & Benefits:

40 guaranteed hours per week
Two weeks paid vacation

Qualifications:
Prior professional nanny experience, including infant care
Strong understanding of infant and early childhood development

Excellent references from previous families
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
