About the Family

A warm, busy, and fully staffed family in Lincoln Park is seeking an experienced and highly collaborative Family Assistant/Nanny to support their five young children and work closely with their existing nanny team. Their 4-year-old son is sweet, observant, silly, and enjoys spending time with his siblings. Their 3-year-old daughter is spirited, determined, and full of personality. The family also has affectionate and active 15-month-old identical twin boys and a sweet and bright 4-month-old infant daughter.

The household is fast-paced, structured, and highly team-oriented. The family values consistency, reliability, and caregivers who naturally take initiative and contribute where needed without constant direction. Dad works full-time outside of the home, while Mom maintains a very active schedule and is frequently in and out. The family employs a chef Monday–Thursday and maintains a team of 4 ROTA nannies, creating a fully supported household environment.

About the Role

This role blends hands-on childcare with household and family support responsibilities. Core duties include managing children’s routines, supporting developmental activities, and transporting children to activities and events using the family vehicle. Additional responsibilities include simple meal prep for the children, children’s laundry, errands, and maintaining organization throughout the home to help ensure smooth daily operations.

The role also includes light support for the family’s four Pomeranians, such as feeding and occasional coordination of grooming. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, resourceful, and comfortable working within a fully staffed household. Strong communication skills are essential, as the role includes providing updates and supporting consistent communication with both parents and the broader household team.

The family is seeking someone who is calm under pressure, solution-oriented, and confident taking initiative without needing direction. A collaborative mindset, strong professionalism, and the ability to adapt within a dynamic household are key to success in this role.
