Organized Educational Nanny/House Manager Needed in Concord, MA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM – 7:30 PM

Description: A thoughtful and energetic family in Concord, MA is seeking a full-time nanny/house manager to support their three school-aged boys (ages 11, 9, and 6) and help manage the day-to-day operations of their active home. This is a wonderful opportunity for a nurturing and highly organized professional who enjoys working with older children and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Start Date: As soon as the right fit is found, ideally by September

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11:30am - 7:30 pm, 40 hours/ week guaranteed

Compensation: $32 - $40/hr ($66,000 - $84,000 annually), based on experience 

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, (nanny chooses one week), 5 paid sick days, paid major federal holidays, and a monthly healthcare stipend if needed

Live-Out: This is a live-out role

Household Dynamic: 

The family has three kind, social, and active boys who enjoy soccer, lacrosse, painting, and spending time outdoors. The children attend two different schools from 8:15 am until the mid-afternoon (3:15pm and 3:45 pm). Dad works both from a home office and outside the home, while mom is hands-on with the children and regularly collaborates with the nanny, especially during the after school hours. The household includes a friendly Labrador Retriever. The family travels several times a year--including one international trip and a summer stay in Nantucket--so a valid passport and willingness to travel 2+ times per year are required. They also appreciate a nanny who is open to occasional evening or weekend support (2-4 times per month) and 1-3 annual overnights. 

Ideal Candidate: 

The ideal candidate is patient, positive, and highly organized, with strong communication skills and a team-player mentality. Experience supporting children with ADHD and executive functioning challenges is preferred, as is a background in education or tutoring. The family values someone who is hands-on, collaborative, and flexible--with a kind demeanor and a proactive, can-do attitude. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • School pickups and transportation to activities (family car provided) 

  • Child-focused meal prep and light family cooking 

  • Errands and grocery shopping 

  • Tidying and home organization 

  • Pet care (dog) Planning and registering for children's extracurriculars 

  • Seasonal clothing inventory and homework/tutoring support 

  • Occasional overnights and travel (passport required) 

  • Academic support with a focus on math, science, and executive functioning skills; experience supporting children with ADHD is highly valued

Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of professional nanny/house management experience 

  • Strong organization and multitasking skills 

  • Experience working with school-aged children 

  • Educational background and/or tutoring experience is a plus 

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. 

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record 

  • Confident in a collaborative family setting 

  • Warm, dependable, and confident communicator
